Description

Due to significant advances in data production, storage and dissemination, *our society enters a new era where the sheer amount of data is overwhelming *our capacity for interpretation and utilization to support scientific, economic*and societal advances. Different computational solutions have been proposed*to tackle this data deluge problem, including promising approaches devised in *the visualization field. My research aim is to develop new visualization tools*and techniques for time-dependent data to support trend and evolution*analysis. Different application domains will be explored, ranging from sports*analysis to environmental monitoring, potentially improving and impacting the *daily routines of different users.
