Project Details
Description
Myeloma occurs when abnormal plasma cells multiply at an increased rate in bone marrow, affecting normal function. As the median survival for myeloma is only 4-5 years, evidence based research is needed to improve patient outcomes. The range of treatment options has changed dramatically over the last decade resulting in improved survival for patients with myeloma.
