Project Details

Description

Hypercholesterolemia, the presence of high levels of cholesterol lipoprotein molecules in blood, contributed to 3% of disease burden in Australia in 2015. It is a major modifiable risk factor for coronary artery disease (CAD) and other forms of atherosclerotic vascular disease. Cholesterol lowering therapy (CLT) is one management option offered/prescribed to patients to modify this risk factor.
