Project Details
Description
Under this grant, Justice for Migrant Women (J4MW) will continue to collaborate with partners and RWJF to explore and identify different pathways to promoting the health and economic inclusion of children and families in the United States by centering the leadership of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other people of color) women. J4MW will serve as a thought partner by engaging in conversations with other organizations in a learning cohort and will implement projects that advance the health, economic inclusion, and leadership of BIPOC women. This grant will support leveraging learning from existing J4MW women's leadership projects, which include rural fellowships, farmworker ambassadors, and training for Latina youths. This grant will also provide the opportunity for J4MW to take learning to the cohort from its existing economic justice work, including a leadership council, policy campaigns, and support groups.
