Abstract
This paper investigated the concentration of TSS, Zn, Cu, Pb, Ni, V, Cd, Cr, and total P in the runoff from a parking lot. In addition, this article aimed to compare the concentrations found with other studies and limits established by the resolution CONAMA. The TSS average concentration found was of 1152.13 mg l-1; while the average concentration for heavy metals, in μg l-1, were of 156.89 Cu, 1744.84 Zn, 256.69 Pb, 74.88 Cr, 15.56 Ni, 0.72 Cd, and 35.54 V, respectively. Phosphorus average concentration found of 0.06 mg l-1. TSS showed a positive correlation with heavy metals in descending order of Cu, Zn, Pb, Cr, Ni, Cd, V.
