Abstract

The authors regret to inform you that an error has been identified on p. 2001 of their recent publication. Current text with error: “For both groups, cement preparation used standardized vacuum mixing of the cement for 90 seconds, followed by cement application directly onto the implant, injection of cement into bony trabeculae with the use of a cement gun, and cementation of the tibial keel.” Corrected text: “For both groups, cement preparation used standardized vacuum mixing of the cement for the time specified by the manufacturer (30 seconds for Simplex HV cement, 90 seconds for the medium viscosity cement in the control group), followed by cement application directly onto the implant, injection of cement into bony trabeculae with the use of a cement gun, and cementation of the tibial keel.” The authors sincerely apologize for this oversight that occurred despite review prior to submission by the authors and the manufacturer of the bone cement.
