Abstract
Thirty-four patients with open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension were submitted to a water-drinking test. A second test was performed on the patients who presented a positive first test (intra-ocular elevation of at least 6 mmHg), in the following week with Apraclonidine previous instillation. Apraclonidine was efficient in reducing the initial intra-ocular pressure (39,2 ± 12,4%) and in diminishing the test induced pressure variation (53,4 ± 26,2%).
