Abstract
Rehabilitation after surgery for the incompetent anterior cruciate ligament can be a very perplexing medical dilemma. This article attempts to articulate modern approaches to newer concepts in the process of rehabilitation. The authors have attempted to march through the biology of healing while matching the modalities of rehabilitation with that process. Pain control, retention of mobility, strength acquisition, and renewed skills are all addressed individually.
