Abstract

The Robin anomalad, once thought to constitute a specific syndrome, cleft palate, micrognathia, and glossoptosis is now known to occur with several genetic syndromes, a few drug induced syndromes, and some loosely associated anomalies. The mode of inheritance in genetic syndromes with the Robin anomalad is that of the particular syndrome with which the anomalad is associated.
