Detalles del proyecto

Description

Although the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation became a national philanthropy in 1972 and has operated on a national scale since then, it also has continued funding a limited number of local institutions and projects in the New Brunswick area and throughout New Jersey. It does so in part to honor the legacy of its founder, and in part to recognize the special responsibilities to the communities and the state in which it is located. This Foundation grant will help Trinity Counseling Service (TCS) to raise $5 million to purchase and renovate a permanent home in Princeton, N.J. An independent, nonprofit organization, TCS provides licensed professional counseling and wellness and educational services for individuals and families living in the Greater Princeton area (e.g., Lawrenceville, Hopewell). More specifically, this grant will support TCS to: (1) purchase the new facility; (2) make required improvements; (3) establish an endowment for deferred maintenance and programmatic funding; and (4) support staff and continue fund-raising-related activities.
