Description
Canadas infrastructure is facing deterioration and structural deficiencies and a significant number of them are in urgent need of rehabilitation. It is vital to the economy of the country that sustainable materials and structural systems be explored to ensure that new structures possess superior performance and durability and extend service life of the existing structures. Dr. Sadeghian is exploring solutions that can be applied for different features of our infrastructure using advanced materials and innovative structural systems, in particular, using fiber reinforced polymer composites for rehabilitation of existing infrastructure and for building new systems with longer service life.
