Resumen
The majority of renal transplant losses occur within the first 90 days. The beneficial effects of immunosuppressive regimens incorporating cyclosporine (Cs) occur within this initial postgraft period. Thereafter, graft survival curves tend to parallel those of azathioprine (Aza)-based protocols. This analysis focuses on the fate of those kidney graft recipients who received primary Cs therapy and in whom graft function was still present at 180 days.
