Pseudologia phantastica: Nový rozměr v diferenciální diagnostice dětských psychóz

The authors demonstrate on a case-record the difficulty of early and correct diagnosis of child psychoses. They draw attention to a further possibility of extending differential diagnostic spectra of these disorders. They draw attention to the less well known syndrome of pseudologia phantastica, define its basic characteristics, try to elucidate the psychodynamic basis of complaints. They draw attention to a possible similarity of symptoms with other mental diseases, in particular with disorders of the schizophrenic type during childhood and adolescence. They also pay attention to the nowadays very urgent problem of pathological lies as a mechanism of false accusation of sexual abuse.
