Description

Canadas catalyst for discovery and innovation in statistical sciences and for advances incollaborative research and training, the Canadian Statistical Sciences Institute (CANSSI)develops and operates programs that support the pursuit of cutting-edge collaborativeresearch in statistical sciences along with the communication and application of the results toscience, engineering, and society. We build multi-disciplinary collaborations with leadership instatistical sciences and encourage new links between statistical sciences and academia, industry, government, and non-profit organizations. CANSSIs programs are designed toencourage the inclusion of statistical scientists as core members of interdisciplinary teamsleading to genuine collaboration and co-creation of scientific discovery across disciplines. The inclusion of students and postdoctoral fellows in research activities is a central goalof CANSSI scientific programs. CANSSI is committed to accessibility, equity, diversity, andinclusion as the foundation for pursuing excellence and innovation in research and training andpursues equity, diversity and inclusion through a comprehensive, multidimensional program.
