Description

It is widely reported in newspapers and academic journals that the numbers of children diagnosed with bipolar disorder is rapidly increasing. Having previously diagnosed bipolar disorder almost exclusively in the adult population, since the mid 1990s there has been a considerable rise in the numbers of children being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The following Café Scientifique sets out to explore the public's concerns and questions regarding the rise in childhood bipolar behaviors.
