Coherence Improvement in White Noise Analysis by the Use of a Repeated Random Sequence Generator

Résumé

A device is described which allows the averaging of the output of an unknown system in response to identical bursts of pseudorandom noise. The use of this technique produces an improvement in the measured coherence function for the system and a reduction in the variance of the estimated system parameters.
