Résumé

Real-time PCR is a powerful tool for the detection and typing of herpes simplex virus (HSV). HSV types 1 and 2 can be distinguished by using the differences in the melting temperatures (T_ms) of the hybridization probes. The efficacy of T_m profiling with low DNA concentrations was evaluated in this study.
