Résumé

The 56-lead magnetocardiogram (MCG) and 120-lead electro cardiogram (ECG) have been measured on the same group of normal subjects. The resulting temporal records and spatial maps have been analyzed using orthogonal basis functions (eigenfunctions) to represent the data. The results show that the spatial MCG maps exhibit substantially larger intersubject variability than the ECG spatial maps. The results indicate that, although there is a large degree of redundancy in the information content of the ECG and MCG temporal data, the MCG temporal records show a somewhat larger information content than the ECG temporal data of the same subject.
