N2 - A 39-year-old man presented with a pure motor stroke 9 days after cervical chiropractic manipulation. Computerised tomographic scanning showed a pontine infarct. Cerebral angiography showed changes consistent with the diagnosis of bilateral vertebral artery dissection. It is postulated that the infarct resulted from artery-to-artery embolism.
