N2 - We report a novel cytogenetic finding in a favorable histology Wilms tumor occurring in a 4-month-old boy. Karyotypic analysis demonstrated a t(6;15)(q21;q21) in all tumor cells examined. This was confirmed using fluorescence in situ hybridization analysis. Molecular analysis of this rearrangement may provide clues to understanding the pathobiology of Wilms tumor.
