Resumen

1. 1. Sonically disrupted L cells contain enzymes catalyzing the formation of all four deoxynucleoside di- and triphosphates from the monophosphates. 2. 2. The deoxyguanylate and deoxyadenylate kinases, which catalyze the formation of the corresponding diphosphates have been partially purified, and have each been obtained free of other deoxynucleotide kinases and of deoxynucleosidediphosphate kinases. 3. 3. The separate identities of deoxycytidylate and thymidylate kinases are inferred from experiments in which these enzymes were selectively inactivated. 4. 4. Both of the purine deoxynucleotide kinases also catalyze the phosphorylation of the corresponding ribonucleotides. Other properties of these enzymes have been studied.
